The Argument Women Can’t Win

Although many people (including men) believe that women are capable of winning all arguments, there is in fact one argument women can’t win - and that’s the argument based on logic.

You see, men argue in a logical way and expect women to argue their case in the same way.

However, a woman may start off arguing logically, but then she may become side tracked and start bringing emotions into the argument. And when a woman brings emotion into an argument, the man knows he’s lost this round.

However, he won’t forget the way she brought up her emotions, because it made him feel that she used them unfairly against him. And he may even want pay back. And if he feels like that, she has lost the argument.

So what can women do to argue fairly (as men perceive it)?

Well first of all, a woman needs to remember that men think logically. They love logic. So if a woman is in an argument with a man, she has to argue logically as well, all the way to the conclusion of the argument. Not just arguing logically at the start and then getting into the emotional side of the argument. That’s the worst mistake she can make.

If a woman does want to argue emotionally, then she needs to do that right from the start and to let the man know that that is what she is doing. She may not even want to argue, but she may need her feelings validated by the man. Unfortunately, many men in this type of situation think that she is unhappy and wants to argue with them, when that may not be the case at all.

It’s important for a man to employ active listening, so they can really hear and understand what the woman is trying to tell them. That way, there may not even be an argument as both parties understand each other completely and no misunderstandings arise.

So the argument that women can’t win is the one where they start off arguing logically with the man and then bring their feelings into the argument. Doing this makes the man feel as if he has been betrayed. And although the woman may win the verbal argument, she hasn’t won the emotional one.
