Does Your Man Truly Value You?
How do you know if your man truly values you? If you find yourself wanting to know the answer to this question, then perhaps you should be asking yourself another question first which is, “Do I value myself?”
If you value yourself, have self-respect and enjoy your life, then it should automatically follow that your man values you, because he can sense that you value yourself.
If you keep on enjoying the activities that you were doing before you met him, make time for your friends and don’t drop everything you’re doing because your guy wants to go out on a date, then it’s pretty to safe to say that yes, you do value yourself.
It’s important to keep up with the things you were doing before you met him. Even if he’s your soul mate and you both feel like you want to be together all the time, it’s vital that you have some separate interests, as this can keep the relationship fresh and ensure you have something new to talk about.
So make sure you still hang out with your girlfriends and enjoy your hobbies. You may even feel like taking up a new hobby! Having a rich, full life which includes a special someone means you’re really living life the way it was meant to be lived.
The alternative would be to dump your girlfriends, stop all the activities you enjoy doing and start hanging on your man’s every word. You’d be waiting constantly for his next call and be miserable when he didn’t call when he said he would. You’d also be accepting his last minute dates because he’s the only thing in your life now and you don’t have anything else to do, anyway!
If you go down this path, then your man will sense that you no longer value yourself, and he may find it a lot harder to value you. And this is something you definitely don’t want to happen!
So to make your man truly value you, it’s important that you value yourself first. Make sure you keep yourself interested in the world around you, make time for your friends and hobbies and he is sure to truly value you.
